VISTA, N.Y. The Vista Fire Department responded to three calls this past week ranging from ambulance requests to alarm activations.
The fire log for the week of Feb. 13-19 follows:
FEB. 14
At 7:40 p.m., the department received a request for the ambulance at a residence on West Lane. The patient was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital.
FEB. 18
The department received a request for the ambulance at a residence on Grandview Road. The patient was transported to Norwalk Hospital.
FEB. 19
The department received a report of an automatic alarm activation at 7:03 p.m. at a residence on East Street. It was determined that the alarm activated due to an error by the homeowner.
