VISTA, N.Y. The Vista Fire Department responded to three calls between Dec. 5 and Dec. 11. The fire log for the week follows:
At 6:56 p.m., the department received a report of an automatic fire alarm activation at a residence on West Road. Fire fighters arrived and found that it was set off in error, due to cooking.
The department received a report at 10:20 p.m. of a wire down in the area of Kitchawan Road and Old Church Lane. Prior to responding the company was advised that it was cable wire. The Vista fire chief responded and verified that it was not an electrical line.
At 12:25p.m., the company received a request for the ambulance at a residence on Smithridge Road. The patient was transported to Norwalk Hospital.
