WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A video posted online shows volatile fan behavior during the Feb. 27 Mahopac vs. Mount Vernon boys basketball game that is the center of the controversy involving racially charged Tweets that led to the suspensions of three Mahopac students.

In the video, Mount Vernon fans who are standing courtside are seen taunting members of the "Mahopac Maniacs" fan section in the overhead balcony.

The controversy began when post-game Tweets with racist comments by Mahopac students led to school-sanctioned suspensions, a development first reported by CBS New York on Wednesday, March 5.
