Toys For Tots Drive Coming To Lewisboro

LEWISBORO, N.Y. – The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve has partnered with the Vista, South Salem, and Goldens Bridge fire departments, along with the Lewisboro Volunteer Ambulance Corps, to sponsor a Toys for Tots toy drive this holiday season.

The area fire departments will collect toys for Toys for Tots at the town's three fire stations Dec. 15.

Toys should be new and unwrapped and can be for any ages. They can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 15 at all three fire stations. Special arrangements for pick-ups can be made by calling 203-856-6121.

Monetary donations also are welcome and can be mailed to: Toys for Tots Foundation, Gift Processing Administrator, 18251 Quantico Gateway Dr., Triangle, VA 22172. You can also donate at www.toysfortots.org.

Along with the Toys for Tots toy drive, the fire departments and ambulance corps are partnering with the New York City and New Jersey to collect coats for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Coats can be dropped off at the firehouses Dec. 15. Coats may be new or gently used.
