71 write-in ballots were cast for two town council seats on Tuesday. The top two vote-getters will receive the nominations for the town council Independence Party.
The Board of Election office is not slated to start tallying the ballots until Thursday, September 22. One candidate has asked for the votes to be impounded. The Westchester County Board has yet to release the name of the candidate.
