CROSS RIVER, N.Y. Getting an early start on the planning for its annual Fall Country Auction, the Lewisboro Volunteer Ambulance Corps will host an informational meeting at its headquarters, 777 Route 35 (across from Yellow Monkey), at 6:30 p.m. July 18.
Residents are invited come and hear the group's plans for the auction and find out how they might find a role for themselves. Light refreshments will be served.
The Fall Country Auction is the group's major fund-raising event of the year and a very popular community gathering at the Waccabuc Country Club.
