LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- Parents in the Katonah-Lewisboro district continued question the data presented by the district's school-closure task force at a public hearing on Nov. 6, according to the Lewisboro Ledger.
The task force did concede that some of the numbers that were originally presented were inaccurate and revised. The most notable number being the potential savings the district would realize by closing Lewsboro Elementary School. Original estimates had the savings between $2.25 million and $2.9 million. The task force has since revised those estimates to $1.7 million, the Lewisboro Ledger said.
