Old Salem Horse Show Tops Lewisboro News This Week

LEWISBORO, N.Y. – Competitors at North Salem’s Old Salem Farm were in the final laps of the Spring Horse Show, with Todd Minikus winning the $50,000 Old Salem Farm Grand Prix on May 12 and Christine McCrea winning the $25,000 New York Welcome Stake.

  • Republican Andrea Rendo of South Salem announced her candidacy in the November election for District 2 Legislator, challenging incumbent Democrat Peter Harckham of North Salem.
  • Four candidates, running on May 21 for three open seats on the Katonah-Lewisboro Board of Education, replied to questions posed by The Daily Voice . The candidates are incumbents Mark Lipton and Peter Treyz and challengers Richard Stone and Jeff Holbrook .
