GOLDENS BRIDGE, N.Y. The Old Goldens Bridge Neighborhood Association will hold two meet the candidate forums this week one for the Republican candidates and another for the Democrats.
The Democrat forum will be held Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 8 p.m. The Republican forum will the following evening, Thursday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. Both events will be held at the Goldens Bridge Community Center (the Parks & Rec building) at 65 Old Bedford Road in Goldens Bridge.
The forum will feature the supervisor candidates, incumbent Charles Duffy (R, C) and challenger Peter Parsons (D, I, Working Families), as well as the town board candidates: incumbents Dan Welsh (D, I, Working Families) and John Pappalardo (R, C) and challengers Rhea Mallett (R, C, I) and Peter Gross (D, Working Families). The candidates will present their platforms and take questions from the audience.
Power has been restored to the Community Center in the wake of the storm, so the forum will proceed as scheduled.
