Light Snow, Fog Make For Slow Travel In Westchester, Accidents Reported

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Commuters had a slow go of it Monday morning as a mix of light snow, fog and rain farther south arrived in Westchester just in time for the commute, with several accidents reported.

A 6:35 a.m.  accident took out the left lane on the southbound Hutchinson River Parkway near the Westchester/Bronx border at Co-op City, resulting in stop-and-go traffic.

It was slow go on the southbound Hutchinson River Parkway at Exit 23 after a 6:20 a.m. accident at Mamaroneck Avenue.

Farther north, an accident was reported on the southbound Taconic State Parkway at Pleasantville Road in Mount Pleasant at 6:32 a.m.
