LEWISBORO, N.Y. – As part of its annual Folk Music Concert Series, the Lewisboro Library will present Diana Jones, Saturday, Dec. 10, at 8 p.m.

Jones is a singer/songwriter who attributes her style to an attraction to rural Southern music, although she grew up in the Northeast. When she was in her late 20s, she located her birth family in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in east Tennessee and her affinity for Anglo-Celtic traditional music began and helped shaped the artist she would become. Jones released her third CD, “High Atmosphere,” earlier this year.

This year for its concert series the library is partnering with Common Ground Community Concerts, a Westchester-based promoter that works with local nonprofits and community groups to help them raise funds and build awareness by presenting world-class music events. Admission for adults is $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Senior citizens are $12 at the door and kids under 12 are free.
