Lewisboro Seeking Applicants For Parks And Recreation Advisory Board

LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- The Lewisboro Town Board is actively seeking to fill two seats that exist on its Parks and Recreation Advisory Council (PRAC).

PRAC members meet once a month approximately ten times a year, usually on the last Thursday of each month at Onatru Farm House in South Salem.

PRAC is an advisory committee made up of 10 town residents and one non-voting liaison that meet once a month approximately 10 times a year, usually on the last Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Onatru Farm House in South Salem. 

The meetings are approximately two hours long, where PRAC members discuss, advise and recommend such things as new programs, staffing, facility and park upgrades and policies for the Lewisboro Parks and Recreation Department and their programs.

If you are interested in this volunteer two-year appointment, please send a letter stating why you would like to serve on this committee, what you feel you will bring to this committee and attach a resume for the bown Board to review.
