Lewisboro PBA Endorses Democratic Slate

LEWISBORO, N.Y. – The Lewisboro Police Benevolent Association (PBA) has announced that it has endorsed the Lewisboro 2011 slate of candidates, led by supervisor hopeful Peter Parsons, for the upcoming general election in November.

In a letter from PBA President Tom Richey, the organization said it was endorsing Parsons, along with town council candidates Dan Welsh and Peter Gross, incumbent Highway Superintendent Peter Ripperger and incumbent Town Justice Susan Simon, who is running unopposed. The Lewisboro 2011 candidates have all received the Democratic Party nomination.

“Public safety is of the utmost importance to all the residents of Lewisboro, as well as to our candidates,” said campaign manager Les Simon. “It is gratifying to receive this show of support by our local police force – the men and women who ensure our daily safety.”

Parsons will face incumbent Supervisor Charles Duffy, while Welsh and Gross will square off against Republican nominees John Pappalardo and political newcomer Rhea Mallett. Ripperger will face challenger Steven Hill.
