Lewisboro OKs Autism Charity's Fall Bike Ride

LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- Lewisboro has given the thumbs-up to a charity bike ride’s request to pass through town Saturday, Oct. 10, according to the Lewisboro Ledger.

The Wall Street Rides FAR (For Autism Research) event raises money for the Autism Science Foundation, the Ledger reported.

According to the charity’s website, the ride has three scenic routes: 14, 35 and 62 miles.

It begins and ends at Manhattanville College in Purchase. Check-in begins at 6:30 a.m. Opening bell is at 7:30 a.m.

Water and snacks will be provided, the charity said.

The registration fee is $70 until Sept. 18, and $85 afterwards. The fee for volunteers is $10, and that includes food and a T-shirt.
