Lewisboro Library Fair Begins Collection Days

LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- Collection days for the 55th annual Lewisboro Library Fair begin Saturday. The fair will be held Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Onatru Farm Town Park.

Donations of books, toys and items can be dropped off every Saturday in August and on Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon at Onatru Farm. Books must be in good condition and free of mold. Small paperbacks, textbooks, magazines and encyclopedias will not be accepted.

For the fair's Attic Treasures Tag Sale, gently used toys, furniture, artwork, kitchen and sports equipment in working condition will be accepted. Broken items, incomplete puzzles, upholstered furniture, stuffed animals, downhill skis, televisions, computers and accessories, air conditioners, bedding and videotapes are not accepted.

The library is also seeking volunteers to collect donations or work at the book pre-sale or fair and a chairperson to head the children's toys part of the fair. Volunteers can register at the library or online at www.lewisborolibrary.org.
