Lewisboro Democrats Seek Town Clerk Candidates

LEWISBORO, N.Y. – The Lewisboro Democratic Committee is looking for residents who are interested in running for the position of town clerk.

Longtime Town Clerk Kathy Cory resigned from the post last month and the town board appointed Deputy Town Clerk Janet Donohue to take her place. An election will be held in November to determine who will serve out the remaining three years of Cory’s term. Donohue has said she will run on the Republican ticket in the November election.

Alan Cole, co-chair of the Lewisboro Democratic Committee, said his party invites interested residents who are interesting in running against Donohue to contact the committee and set up an interview. Potential candidates should e-mail or call 914-361-5235.
