LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- Here are some of the stories that topped the news in Lewisboro this week:
- The Lewisboro Town Board began considering its options to fund the road paving budget for 2014 , and is exploring the option of borrowing up to $100,000 in order to make the budget work, according to the Lewisboro Ledger.
- A 43-year-old man was hit by a Metro-North train and killed just south of the Hartsdale train station Tuesday morning in an apparent suicide, according to Metro-North Railroad spokeswoman Marjorie Anders.
- A Somers man was found dead on Route 100 near the Muscoot Reservoir on the east side of the road. State Police shut down the road in both directions for 30 minutes in order to investigate.
