Habitat For Humanity Celebrates Anniversary Of ReStore in Westchester

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Habitat for Humanity of Westchester will celebrate its one-year anniversary Oct. 9-12 of its ReStore with a 50 percent off sale and fun-filled events.

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are non-profit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Habitat for Humanity ReStores are owned and operated by local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, and proceeds are used to build homes, community, and hope locally and around the world.

The Westchester ReStore is at 659 Main St., New Rochelle

Events for the celebration include raffles for prizes of up to $500 in gift certificates to the ReStore and a large storefront planter, and family-friendly events ranging from a carnival-themed party with face-painting, popcorn and cotton candy to a free live-music show.
