A judge found the 71-year-old Durst not guilty of trespassing at the residences of several relatives, including his brother and lifted 13 orders of protection against him, in a family feud that has been going on for nearly 25 years, The Times reported.

The Durst family, which owns several prominent fixtures in the New York City skyline, is fearful that Robert will instruct doormen at their property to keep an eye out for an estranged relative. Robert's brother Douglas is also afraid for his life after an incident between the two in 2001, The Times said.

The trespassing charges stemmed from incidents in 2012 and 2013 when Robert was found walking in front of family-owned properties and trying to look through family members' windows, the Times said.
