LEWISBORO/POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – This weekend thee Ridgefield Playhouse presents the droll comedy of Stephen Wright and a live rendition of chef Robert Irvine’s “Restaurant: Impossible” show. As always, the Wolf Conservation Center has a full slate of programs.

Friday, Nov. 30

Almost Anything Goes: 7-9 p.m. Fox Lane Middle School will host “Almost Anything Goes,” its annual indoor field-day competition between the three Fox Lane Middle School houses. Students congregate at the Fox Lane High School gym, hoisting homemade signs and wearing T-shirts representing their house colors. South Bedford Road, Bedford.

Stephen Wright in Concert: 8 p.m. Billed as the “Confucius of Comedy” by the New York Post, Academy Award winner and Grammy Award nominee Steven Wright brings his trademark wit, absurdist one-liners and monotone voice to the Ridgefield Playhouse. Pancake Breakfast: 8 p.m.-noon The Pound Ridge Elementary School will host its annual pancake breakfast in the school’s cafeteria. 7 Pound Ridge Road, Pound Ridge.

Supervisor’s Forum: 10 a.m. Pound Ridge Supervisor Gary Warshauer will hold his monthly Supervisor’s Forum at the Town House. 179 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge.

Holiday Book Sale: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The Pound Ridge Library will host its annual Holiday Book Sale featuring all types of books for both children and adults, DVDs, CDs and more. 271 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge.

Writing the Memoir: 10:30-11:30 a.m. Sign up for the Pound Ridge Library’s memoir-writing group and put your memories down on paper. The program is led by Josina van der Maas and is open to writers of all abilities. Wolves of North America: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The Wolf Conservation Center presents a program where you can learn about the mythology, biology and ecology of wolf families and discover why fall is a special time for packs in North America. Guests will visit ambassador wolves Atka, Alawa and Zephyr as well as the center’s critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves. Cost is $13 for adults and $11 for children under 12.
