South Salem Neighbor Shares DinoClaus Tradition

SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. -- We asked readers to send in pictures of their holiday decorations and got this one from Brian Stempel in South Salem.

It's a Lewisboro tradition for Santa to leave a little "present" on the lawns of neighbors and friends at Christmastime. Here, DinoClaus arrives at his new holiday home in South Salem.

“It has become a Lewisboro tradition in our weird group of friends to, under cover of night (just like the man in the red suit), leave this lovely and festive lawn ornament, DinoClaus, at the homes of other friends during the holiday season,” Stempel said.

“The home with it on Christmas Day has the fine privilege of hosting DinoClaus in their garage until next year,” he said.
