New Lewisboro Eagle Scouts Create Outdoor Classroom, Garden

LEWISBORO, N.Y. — Two new Eagle Scouts have landed in South Salem, completing an outdoor classroom and a children’s garden as service projects to help them earn Scouting’s highest rank, reports lewisboroledger.com.

Steven Palmesi of Boy Scout Troop 1 built an outdoor classroom at Bedford Audubon’s Bylane Farm for his Eagle Scout project. Dunlin Stathis of Troop 154 created a children's garden in Katonah.

John Jay High School junior Steven Palmesi of Boy Scout Troop 1 spent a year working at Bedford Audubon’s Bylane Farm on Todd Road to create an outdoor classroom, says lewisboroledger.com.

Dunlin Stathis of Troop 154 of Goldens Bridge worked with other Scouts to clear a hillside of woods and brush to build a children’s garden at the Country Children’s Center in Katonah, according to lewisboroledger.com.
