Lewisboro Seniors Celebrate Oktoberfest

LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- The chance to spend an autumn afternoon outdoors at Krucker's Picnic Grove nestled in New York's Ramapo Mountains was reason enough to draw 42 Lewisboro seniors to Oktoberfest in Pomona.

German food, bingo games and pumpkin-decorating were part of the fun, said Lewisboro Senior Director Pam Veith who organized the trip, "a favorite" among the group.

Krucker's has lovely grounds, she enthused

"We had an absolutely wonderful day enjoying lots and lots of delicious German fare and great entertainment."
