To the Editor:
I write to urge the voters of Lewisboro to vote for Janet Donohue for town clerk.
We first met as Girl Scout volunteers six years ago, and now our paths cross as members of the Lions Club.
Janet had big shoes to fill when she was appointed town clerk. The transition was seamless and her office continues to function smoothly.
As the towns records management officer and records access officer, Janet will continue to insure that the public has ready access to any required documents.
The town clerk is often the first person a new resident meets when he or she arrives in town. I cannot think of a better group of people to greet them than Janet Donohue and her staff.
