Golfers, tennis players, and even gardeners can suffer from elbow pain says Gott. However, relief can come by following a few simple steps.

Patients should heed the acronym RICE, meaning rest, ice, compression, and elevation. Resting your arm and applying ice for 15 to 20 minutes, three times a day will help reduce inflammation and ease the pain. Compression can also be achieved with elbow braces and wraps easily found at the drugstore. Pain relievers, physical therapy and even surgery can be options as well.
