The Gallery at Onatru is located in a 19th century farmhouse, donated to the town of Lewisboro in 1973 by Alice Poor. The building was converted to an art gallery in 1998. The gallery was temporarily closed while structural renovations were under way at Onatru Farm. The forthcoming summer art show marks the re-opening.

A portion of the proceeds from any sales at the art show will be donated to Lewisboro’s Friends of the Parks.

The show will be installed in time for the Independence Day Fireworks at Onatru. An artists’ reception will be held on the evening of Friday, June 28.

The deadline for entries is April 30. For further information, contact Alex McFarlane at alex@artistmcfarlane.com or Peter Lampke at plampke@yahoo.com.

Lewisboro’s Onatru Farm Park, located on Elmwood Road in South Salem, offers residents many recreational facilities, such as four multi-purpose fields for football, soccer, softball, field hockey and lacrosse. There are also four soft surface tennis courts, hiking trails, playground equipment and a large picnic pavilion.
