LEWISBORO, N.Y. – Here’s a look at events taking place around Lewisboro this week, including town and school board meetings, as well as library events.

Monday, July 16

Genealogy Workshop: 2 p.m. Interested in researching your family history? Library Director Cindy Rubino will lead a workshop on how to use the recently released details of the 1940 census to uncover information on your ancestors. Registration is required. Tuesday, July 17

Teen Book ‘n Bites: 4:30 p.m. This Lewisboro Library event is for kids in grades 5 to 8. Have snacks and discuss Neil Gaiman’s “The Graveyard Book.” Copies are available through the library system. Registration is required. Call the library at 914-761-3857. 15 Main St., South Salem.

Technology & You Workshop: 7 p.m. “Library Technology & You” is a hands-on course to teach library patrons how to use the library catalog and their library cards to download free audiobooks and eBooks onto compatible digital devices. Each participant should come prepared with a library card with PIN, the device, an Adobe user ID and password and, if applicable, a laptop. Board of Education: 7 p.m. The Katonah-Lewisboro Board of Education will hold a special meeting with an anticipated executive session. The public session begins at 7:15 p.m. District offices at Increase Miller Elementary School, 186 Waccabuc Road, Goldens Bridge.

Wednesday July 18

Lewisboro Adult Seniors Meeting: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The seniors will hold their regular weekly meeting at the South Salem firehouse. Highlights include a book group meeting with Lewisboro Library Director Cindy Rubino to discuss “The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake” by Aimee Bender. Thursday, July 19

Lewisboro Library Toddler Time: 10:30 a.m. The library offers stories and activities for children ages 20 months to 3 years. It will also hold its preschool program for ages 3 to 6 at 1:30 p.m. Both events require registration. Call the library at 914-761-3857. 15 Main St., South Salem.

Craft a Dream Catcher:  4 p.m. This Lewisboro Library event is for kids in grades 1 to 5. According to Native American lore, a dream catcher helps protect sleeping children from nightmares. Children can create their own dream catchers to hang in their bedrooms. All materials are supplied. Space is limited, and registration is required. Town Board Executive Session: 8 to 10 p.m. The Lewisboro Town Board will conduct an executive session in the upstairs meeting room of the Town House to hold interviews and consider appointments. 11 Spring St., South Salem.

Friday, July 20

Sleeping With Wolves: 7 to 9 a.m. The Wolf Conservation Center’s nocturnal adventure experience gives visitors a chance to camp overnight with the 25 wolves at the center. With all the howls and nature’s nighttime chatter, you’ll feel as if you’re camping under the stars with wild wolves. Cost is $275 per four-person tent. Singles are $150 but must bring their own tent. Admission includes a pizza party with the center’s ambassador wolves, an opportunity to behold critically endangered red and Mexican wolves, a movie under the stars, evening snacks and a light breakfast.
