Schools Closed: Schools in the Katonah-Lewisboro School District are closed for Winter Recess.

Tuesday, Dec. 25:

Christmas Day: All town offices and schools are closed for Christmas Day.

Wednesday, Dec. 26

Wolves of North America: 2 p.m. The Wolf Conservation Center presents a program where you can learn about the mythology, biology and ecology of wolf families and discover why fall is a special time for packs in North America. Guests will visit ambassador wolves Atka, Alawa and Zephyr as well as the WCC’s critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves. Cost is $13 for adults and $11 for kids under 12. Full Moon Holiday Wolf Walk: 5:30 p.m. Celebrate the final full moon of 2012 with wolves at the Wolf Conservation Center. While keeping warm by the Wolf Conservation Center's outdoor fire pit, guests will enjoy warm drinks, sugary treats and likely the symphony of howls from the 25 wolves that call the WCC home. Guests then take a short moonlit walk to visit ambassador wolves Atka, Alawa and Zephyr. Bring flashlights. Pre-registration is required. Cost is $18 person.
