Saturday, June 25
The Pound Ridge Library will hold its Summer Reading Game Kickoff, featuring One World with Chris Marin, a multicultural show featuring steel drums, a 10-foot Tibetan trumpet, and Hawaiian steel guitar. The Town of Lewisboro will hold its 13th annual Fireworks Spectacular at Onatru Farm Park. Entertainment begins at 7 p.m. featuring live music. The Lions Club will sell food, drinks and snacks. Fireworks begin at dusk. Designated parking starts at 5 p.m. Bring blankets and chairs.
Caramoor will hold its Opening Night with a production of H.M.S. Pinafore at its Venetian Theater at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $21, $36, $51, $66 and $81. The performance will feature the Orchestra of St. Lukes. Caramoor is located at 149 Girdle Road, Katonah. Call (914) 232-1252 for ticket information.
The Ridgefield Playhouse will feature a performance of the English classic rock band Uriah Heep, who will perform their greatest hits, including Easy Livin, Stealin, The Wizard, and July Morning, as well as new material. There will a Green Homes and Estates Tour to benefit the Wolf Conservation Center in Lewisboro to raise money for WCCs pup nursery and new education center. Guests will tour six remarkable estates with the open of stopping at Richard Geres historic Bedford Post for lunch at the new Farmhouse Patio. The tour runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and costs $75, which is tax deductible. Lunch at the Bedfor Post (noon to 2 p.m.) is $25. Visit NYWolf.org for more information and to register.
