Monday, Dec. 10

LEGOs Creation Club: 4:30 p.m. The Lewisboro Library’s LEGOs Creation Club will meet at the library. Registration is required. Call the library at 914-761-3857. 15 Main St., South Salem.

Town Board Meeting: The Lewisboro Town Board will hold a meeting with a public hearing on the adoption of the proposed 2013 budget at the Lewisboro Library. 15 Main St., South Salem.

Tuesday, Dec. 11

Fire District Elections: 6-9 p.m. The three fire districts in Lewisboro will hold their annual fire commissioner elections. Voters in each fire district can cast their votes for fire commissioner at their respective fire stations: Goldens Bridge District, 254 Waccabuc Road, Goldens Bridge; Vista District, 377 Smithridge Road, South Salem; South Salem District, 1190 Route 35, South Salem.

Planning Board Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The Lewisboro Planning Board will hold a public hearing regarding the applications for special use and wetland activity permits for the Lewisboro Library’s expansion plans. The meeting will be held at the town offices at Orchard Square shopping center, lower level. North Salem Road, Cross River.

Wednesday, Dec. 12

Online Library Catalog Basics: 2 p.m. The Westchester Library System just unveiled the new Enterprise library catalog, which was designed to improve the search experience for patrons. This class will show patrons the new features, such as how to use the check-out history to track what you've read, how to create and store lists of books and media you want to read, and how to gain easy access to lists of the latest DVD/Blu-ray acquisitions or current New York Times best-sellers. Architecture and Community Appearance Review Council: 8-10 p.m. The Lewisboro Architecture and Community Appearance Review Council will hold its regular monthly meeting at the Town House. Thursday, Dec. 13

Board of Education: 7:30 p.m. The Katonah-Lewisboro school board will hold a study/work session meeting at John Jay Middle School Library. 30 N. Salem Road, Cross River.

Wine and Wolves: 7-10 p.m. Wine and Wolves is the fifth annual holiday celebration to benefit the Wolf Conservation Center. Join the staff and supporters to toast to 13 years of success at a festive holiday party in the Carriage House of the Waccabuc Country Club. Dozens of the community’s finest restaurants, liquor stores and merchants will supply food, wine and holiday gifts for auction via silent bids. Music will be provided by area talent.
