Planning Board: 7:30 p.m. The Lewisboro Planning Board will hold a meeting at the new town offices. Orchard Square shopping plaza, lower level, North Salem Road, Cross River.

Fiction Writing Workshop: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Author Kim Kovach (“A Few Bad Decisions, The Adventures of Kitchawan Kenny”) returns with creative ways to explore character development, point-of-view, dialogue and setting to make your fiction writing come alive. Jazz, Soul and a Taste of Lewisboro : 8 p.m. This benefit for the Lewisboro Library will feature music served with samplings of fine fare from local eateries. The program will feature The Jazz and Soul Coalition, with local resident Steve Shapiro, plus Joel Rosenblatt, Mark Egan and special guests Vaneese Thomas and Andy Snitzer.
