Monday, Sept. 17
Katonah-Lewisboro Schools Closed: Schools in the Katonah-Lewisboro school district will be closed in observance of Rosh Hashanah.
LEGOS Creation Club: 4:30 p.m. The Lewisboro Library’s LEGOS Creation Club will meet at the library. Registration is required. Call the library at 914-761-3857. 15 Spring St., South Salem.
Tuesday, Sept. 18
Katonah-Lewisboro Schools Closed: Schools in the Katonah-Lewisboro school district will be closed in observance of Rosh Hashanah.
Pirate Treasure Hunt: 1 p.m. To celebrate “Talk Like a Pirate Day” (yes, that’s a real thing), the Lewisboro Library invites children in first through fifth grades to spend their holiday on a scavenger hunt for pirate treasure at the library. Wednesday Sept. 19
Lewisboro Adults Seniors Meeting: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The seniors will hold their regular weekly meeting at the South Salem firehouse. For more information, contact senior adult director Pam Veith at 914-232-6162. 1190 Route 35, South Salem.
Curriculum Night: 7 p.m. All four elementary schools in the Katonah-Lewisboro school district (Lewisboro, Katonah, Meadow Pond and Increase Miller) will hold a Curriculum Night for parents of children in third through fifth grades at their respective schools.
Thursday, Sept. 20
Open House: 7 p.m. John Jay Middle School will hold an Open House for parents of seventh- and eighth-graders. North Salem Road, Cross River.
Senior Adult Trip: 8 a.m. The Lewisboro Adult Seniors will travel to Mohegan Sun. Cost is $10 and bus leaves from Town Park. Call Pam Veith at 914-232-6162 for more information.
Lewisboro Library Toddler Time: 10:30 a.m. The library offers stories and activities for children ages 20 months to 3 years. It will also hold its preschool program for ages 3 to 6 at 1:30 p.m. Both events require registration. Call the library at 914-761-3857. 15 Main St., South Salem.
Friday, Sept. 21
Sleeping With Wolves: 7 p.m.-9 a.m. The Wolf Conservation Center’s nocturnal adventure experience gives visitors a chance to camp out overnight with the 25 wolves that call the center home. Cost is $275 per four-person tent. Singles are $150 but must bring their own tents. Admission includes a pizza party with the center’s ambassador wolves, an opportunity to behold critically endangered red and Mexican wolves, a movie under the stars, evening snacks and a light breakfast.
