LEWISBORO/POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – There’s a lot going on at the local libraries this weekend from the classic piano concert in Pound Ridge to the Volunteer Fair in Lewisboro. As always, the Ridgefield Playhouse is offering some cool shows.

Friday, Feb. March 1

iPad Tips and Tricks: 11 a.m. Learn how to use your iPad more effectively at this Lewisboro Library program. Beginners and more advanced users are invited to learn useful tips, tricks and apps for the iPad. Registration is required. Call the library at 914-763-3857. 15 Main St., South Salem.

POW! The History of Superheroes: 7 p.m. The Lewisboro Library presents this program for superhero fans of all ages. Film historian and author Clive Young will use PowerPoint and video to explore 80 years of super-powered cinema. He will trace the evolution of these exciting films, from the Saturday morning serials of yesteryear to the box-office blockbusters of today. This program is for adults, teens and children over 8. Classic Albums Live: The Who’s "Who's Next": 8 p.m. Classic Albums Live takes classic albums and recreates them live, on stage – note for note, cut for cut. At the Ridgefield Playhouse, they will recreate your favorite songs by The Who including “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” "Baba O’Riley” and “Behind Blue Eyes.” Tickets are $45. Katonah-Lewisboro School Board: 8:30 a.m. The School Board will hold a meeting to discuss the 2013-14 budget at the John Jay High School library. 40 North Salem Road, Cross River

Gossett Brothers Farm Market: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Gossett Brothers Farm Market features fresh produce, meats and cheese, as well as seafood. The market is at 1202 Route 35, at Gossett Brothers Nursery in South Salem.

Wellness Day Tag Sale:  9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a Wellness Day tag sale at the Fox Lane High School cafeteria. S. Bedford Road, Bedford.

Writing the Memoir 10:30 p.m. Sign-up for the Pound Ridge Library’s memoir-writing group and put those memories down on paper. The program is open to writers of all abilities. Call the library for more details at 914-764-5085. 271 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge

Lewisboro Volunteer Fair: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Local agencies set up tables in the Lewisboro Library with information on their services and volunteer needs. Community members are invited to drop by that day to find out how they can be of service to their neighbors in need. Participating groups this year include the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, the Bedford Audubon Society, the Girl Scouts of Katonah/Lewisboro, Golden Roads, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Hospice of Westchester/Putnam, the Lewisboro Garden Club, the Lewisboro Historical Society, and more. 15 Main St., South Salem

Art Exhibit Reception: 7 to 9 p.m. The Pound Ridge Library will hold a opening reception for its latest art exhibit, “When Work is Done” – the artwork of three men with day jobs – Richard de Palma, Floyd Rappy, Peter Romeo. Tartan Terrors in Concert: 8 p.m. The Ridgefield Playhouse presents North America's premiere Celtic event, featuring the best in music, comedy and dance. It features the piping of a two-time World Champion bagpiper and drums from around the world, Tickets are $50. Wellness Day Tag Sale:  9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a Wellness Day tag sale at the Fox Lane High School cafeteria. S. Bedford Road, Bedford

Sunset Photo Session at the Wolf Center: 3:30 p.m. Join the Wolf Conservation Center to photograph the WCC’s ambassador wolves Atka, Alawa, and Zephyr, in the glow of the sunset. Guests will also be given access to photograph the WCC critically endangered Mexican wolves and red wolves from vantage points not generally available during regular visits. The cost is $125 per person. Classical Piano Concert: 4 p.m. The Pound Ridge Library will present Taiwanese pianist Tienni Chen in concert in a program featuring the music of Johannes Brahms, Tan Dun and Maurice Ravel. There will be a reception following the performance.
