LEWISBORO/POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – This weekend’s events are an eclectic mix, including performances of “The Nutcracker” at the Ridgefield Playhouse and the Folk Concert Series at the Lewisboro Library. As always, there’s a lot going on at the Wolf Conservation Center.

Friday, Dec. 7

Fun with Music: 11 a.m. The Pound Ridge Library presents “Fun with Music” featuring Laura D’Amico for children ages 5 and younger. Registration is required. For more information, call the library at 914-764-5085. 271 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge.

Ladies Night Out: 6:30 to 10 pm. The Vista Fire Department will have its Ladies Night Out event at the firehouse. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for kids under 12. 377 Smithridge Road, South Salem

Gossett Brothers Farm Market: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Gossett Brothers Farm Market features fresh produce, meats and cheese, as well as seafood. The market is at 1202 Route 35, at Gossett Brothers Nursery in South Salem.

Second Saturday Review of Literature: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. This week’s meeting of the Pound Ridge Library’s Second Saturday Review of Literature will focus on “The Hare with Amber Eyes” by Edmund De Wall. Thoughtful reading, lively discussion and light refreshments. Copies of the book are available at the library. Registration is required. Folk Music Concert Series: 8 p.m. The Lewisboro Library’s Folk Music Concert Series continues with Steve Gillette and Cindy Mangsen, who have been performing together for more than 20 years. They will perform traditional music plus original songs and are known for their rich harmonies, compelling songs and sense of humor. Admission is $12 in advance for adults and $15 at the door. Wolves of North America:  11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  The Wolf Conservation Center presents a program where you can learn about the mythology, biology and ecology of wolf families and discover why this is a special time for packs in North America. Guests will visit ambassador wolves Atka, Alawa and Zephyr, as well as the center's critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves. Cost is $13 for adults and $11 for kids under 12. 10th Annual Pound Ridge Tree-Lighting Ceremony: 5 p.m. The Pound Ridge annual tree-lighting ceremony will be at the Pound Ridge firehouse in Scotts Corners. The event, sponsored by the Pound Ridge Business Association, will feature Pound Ridge Community Church music director Pete Malinverni leading the church chorus and community in song. There will be hot chocolate and other holiday treats, as well as a visit from St. Nick.  80 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge
