The Minstrels will perform excerpts from various Gilbert & Sullivan operas, with some sing-along opportunities for the audience. The event will be catered by the Horse & Hound Inn with hors d'oeuvres and a light buffet highlighting British fare. Noting that the Manhattan-based NYGASP is considered the pre-eminent professional Gilbert & Sullivan repertory company in the country, board member and event chair Terry Harder emphasized how fortunate the oratorio society was to have several of their players performing.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the production costs for the oratorio society's upcoming concert on May 3 at the South Salem Presbyterian Church featuring Mozart's Mass in C minor, with professional soloists and the WOS Festival Orchestra, which is comprised of some of the finest young musicians in the New York metropolitan area.

A Topsy Turvy Evening runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at a private home in South Salem. Guests will receive directions upon registration. Tickets are $75 per person ($140 couple). Email WestchesterOratorio@gmail.com for more information. Seating is limited. Visit www.westchesteroratorio.org to register online (via PayPal).
