New Congregation Shir Shalom Celebrates Purim With Carnival

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- A Purim Carnival and celebration at the recently founded Congregation Shir Shalom will take place on March 13 from noon to 2 p.m and the public is invited. 

Congregation Shir Shalom, which was formed by the merger of two synagogues from Ridgefield and South Salem, is holding a Purim carnival.

Congregation Shir Shalom of Westchester and Fairfield Counties is the new name of the congregation that was formed when Jewish Family Congregation of South Salem and Temple Shearith Israel of Ridgefield formed a union. 

The location in Ridgefield is convenient for both northern Westchester and Fairfield County families.
