Lewisboro Teens Prepare To Compete In Battle Of The Books

LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- A team of local teens will represent the Lewisboro Library at the “Battle of the Books,” a countywide competition of young adults from all participating Westchester County public libraries, on Saturday, Oct. 18.

The Battle takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Scarsdale Middle School. Teams of three to six students will compete by answering trivia questions based on five different books: Divergent, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Mockingbird, The Notorious Benedict Arnold and The Rithmatist.

Lewisboro team members are Liliana Carey, Catherine Curry, Eliza Wein and Faith Willett.

Teen Librarian Dolores Antonetz has been prepping the team with weekly mini-battles to get ready for the big competition.
