Lewisboro Library's Buy A Brick Deadline Nears

LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- Residents interested in donating to Lewisboro Library's Buy a Brick Campaign should donate to the cause by the deadline of Wednesday.

Residents can fill out an order form at the library's temporary location in the South Salem Presbyterian Church, 111 Spring St., South Salem.

Forms are also available on the library website. Bricks are tax-deductible contributions, and purchases are an investment in the future of literacy, knowledge and the joy of reading in the community.

Engraved bricks are $200 for two lines of text and $300 for three lines.The library has sold more than 160 bricks, with inscriptions ranging from family and business names to "in honor of" dedications, to inspirational quotes about reading.
