The fair will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m Sept. 21, rain or shine, at Onatru Farm Town Park. The book and toy pre-sale, for residents only, is from 5-9 p.m. Sept. 19. The book pre-sale continues from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 20.
In addition to the book and toy sales, the fair also features food, music, vintage cars, a corn maze, kids’ games, local vendors, Battle of the Bakers and an expanded prize raffle and silent auction. If you’d like to contribute to the silent auction, please contact maryshah@optonline.net.
The fair is the library's major fundraiser. All proceeds go directly to its operating budget.
The library depends on the help of volunteers to operate the fair and is seeking volunteers to help out before and on fair day. If you are available to help, please sign up at the library or online. There are many opportunities to volunteer for people of all ages. Currently, the Fair is looking for people with building skills to help renovate and create new games in our kids’ area.
Vendors also are being sought for the fair. There are a limited number of vendor spaces available for $80. Download the vendor application here. Community organizations may reserve space at the fair free of charge. There is a $20 table/chair rental fee. Download the community group application here.
The library also is seeking local businesses and individuals to underwrite the costs of producing the fair, such as tent rentals and food and music, so more proceeds can go directly to the operating budget.
