Families are invited on this moderate 45-minute walk with some elevation. This hike is not suitable for those with walking or mobility restrictions.
The hike will be led by Helen Peeples. It will start at 10 a.m.
The trail is wooded with oak and black birch, azalea and blueberry. Pileated woodpeckers and coyotes have been spotted on this trail, according to members of the Lewisboro Land Trust.
Hats, closed-toed shoes and insect spray are suggested for the hike. Cookies and lemonade will be available at the hike's conclusion.
Parking is limited. If the small lot is full, guests are encouraged to park along Mount Holly Road.
