SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. -- The Lewisboro Library is holding an earring design workshop on Monday, at 7 p.m.

The course, which is open to adults and teens, is led by Joan Loyd, who donates over 500 pairs of earrings each month to women's shelters.

Participants are asked to make and donate one pair of earrings for each pair they keep.
