The keynote speaker for the event will be Jeanne Zaino, who will discuss the topic "The Supreme Court and the Voting Rights Act," according to a press release.
Zaino is a faculty member in Iona College’s political science and international studies department. She regularly discusses politics and government on a number of radio and television shows, and is regularly quoted as a source in print and online media coverage of American political issues.
The luncheon will begin at 12:15 p.m., with Zaino’s talk beginning once dessert is served.
The event will be at the Horse and Hound Inn, 94 Spring St., South Salem.
The cost per person is $33, and includes a lunch entrée, salad, dessert, coffee or tea, and all taxes and gratuities.
The reservation deadline is Monday, June 1.
