Norwalk's Lockwood Mathews Mansion Museum presents the exhibit, "Epic Voyage" which focuses on the life and times of Titanic surivor, Helen Churchill Candee. Candee was the mother of Edith Mathews, who owned the Mansion at the turn of the century. A women’s rights advocate, author, journalist and renowned interior decorator, Candee worked for President Theodore Roosevelt, among others. An adjunct to the exhibit is the Museum's Student Program which includes Mystic Aquarium’s Immersion Learning's Return to Titanic program, with hands-on activities and games that highlight science, technology and exploration.
