Felician University Names New Dean Of Business School

LODI, N.J. -- Felician University recently announced it has appointed former KPMG partner, Robert P. Evans, as Dean of its School of Business.

A partner at KPMG from 1983 until his retirement, Evans held a number of leadership positions within the company and in the business community. He was designated by the firm to be one of its initial partners to hold the title of International Audit Partner.

“Bob Evans brings a remarkable, lifetime career of hands-on leadership experience to our School of Business,” Felician University president, Dr. Anne Prisco said in a statement. “His deep understanding of all levels of business infrastructure and operations, coupled with a proven track record of considerable domestic and international client responsibility while at KPMG, will be invaluable to both our faculty and student body.” 

Evans has also served seven terms as Chairman of the New Jersey World Trade Council. The New Jersey World Trade Council is a non-profit organization comprised of prominent private and public companies and government agencies, which promotes international commerce as well as foreign investment in New Jersey. 

Evans is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of CPAs.

Evans is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a BS in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude. He has also completed executive KPMG-sponsored courses at Stanford University and the Wharton School. 

He resides in Franklin Lakes with his wife. His two children live and work in New York City and are involved in the Finance industry.
