ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- The third accident of Wednesday morning on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Rockland was reported just before noon and led to the closure of a stretch of the parkway.
The 11:30 a.m. accident occurred on the southbound PIP at Exit 11 in Hillcrest with one person extricated from a vehicle.
