WESTPORT, Conn. Michael Argosh scored 15 points Thursday night as the Staples High School boys basketball team defeated Darien for its fourth straight victory.
Peter Rankowitz added 14 for the Wreckers, who improved to 6-4 overall and 5-3 in the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference. Staples has won five of its last six games as it heads into a showdown Tuesday against undefeated St. Joseph in Trumbull.
Darien slipped to 2-9 overall and 1-8 in the conference.
