EASTON, Conn. Residents can plan ahead and mark their calendars now that several Easton boards and commissions have set their meeting schedules for 2012.
Region 9 Board of Education
All meetings will take place in the Joel Barlow High School Library Media Center, 100 Black Rock Turnpike in Redding, on Tuesdays at 7 p.m.
The 2012 meetings are set for Jan. 17 and 24, Feb. 28, March 7, 12 and 20, April 9 and 24, May 7 and 22, June 12, July 24, Aug. 21, Sept. 25, Oct. 16, Nov. 27 and Dec. 18.
Easton Board of Education
All meetings will take place in the Helen Keller Middle School Library Media Center, 360 Sport Hill Road, on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m.
The 2012 meetings are set for Jan. 10 (with budget presentation), 12 (budget workshop) and 24, Feb. 14 (with a budget workshop) and 15 (with a budget workshop), March 13, April 10, May 8, June 5, Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 20 and Dec. 11.
Pension & Employee Benefits Commission
All meetings will take place in Town Hall conference room A, located at 225 Center Road, on Tuesdays at 8:30 a.m.
The 2012 meetings are set for Jan. 17, April 17, June 12, Aug. 14, Oct. 16, Nov. 13 and Dec. 11.
Board of Finance
All meetings will take place in Town Hall conference room A, located at 225 Center Road, at 7:30 p.m. The board will meet on the first Tuesday of each month, except for July 10.
The 2012 meetings are set for Jan. 3, Feb. 7, March 6, April 3, May 1, June 5, July 10, Aug. 7, Sept. 4, Oct. 2, Nov. 6 and Dec. 4. Planning and Zoning Commission
All meetings will take place in Town Hall conference room A, located at 225 Center Road, at 6:30 p.m. The board will meet on the second and fourth Mondays.
The 2012 meetings are set for Jan. 9 and 23, Feb. 13 and 27, March 12 and 26, April 9 and 23, May 14 and 21, June 11 and 25, July 9 and July 23, Aug. 13 and 27, Sept. 10 and 24, Oct. 15 and 22, Nov. 19 and 26, Dec. 10 and 17.
Animal Shelter Building Committee
All meetings will take place in the Easton Police Department conference room, located at 700 Morehouse Road, at 7 p.m.
The 2012 meetings are set for Jan. 11 and 25, Feb. 8 and 22, March 14 and 28, April 11 and 25, May 9 and 23, June 13 and 27, July 11 and 25, Aug. 8 and 22, Sept. 12 and 26, Oct. 10 and 24, Nov. 14 and 28, and Dec. 12 and 26.
