The Wizards will face off against a team made up of Katonah-Lewisboro principals and teachers.

The game, which will have an admission of $20 per person, will raise money for the John Jay Boosters Club.

“We are currently raising funds for the new cross-country trail,” Rich Murphy, the Boosters' president, said in a statement.

Booster funds, the district notes, have previously paid for items including tennis courts, softball dugouts and a high school fitness center.

The Wizards' roster will include, the district says, players such as Eric “Broadway” Jones, Arnold “A-Train” Bernard and Dwayne “Swoop” Simpson.

In a preview of sorts, Wizards' player "Big Mike" visited students at Katonah Elementary School earlier this week, the district noted.

The Katonah-Lewisboro staffers' team will include John Jay Middle School Principal Rich Leprine, John Jay Middle School Assistant Principal Monica Bermiss and Increase Miller Elementary School Principal Kerry Ford.

The game is scheduled for Saturday, March 4 at 2 p.m. It will be played at John Jay High School.
