Gov. Cuomo Endorses New Castle Democrats

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced his endorsement of the New Castle Democratic Slate of Penelle Paderewski for Town Supervisor and John Buckley and Michael Wolfensohn for Town Council.

"I am proud to endorse the New Castle Democratic team," Cuomo said in a statement. "As a member of the community, I know we need a team with experience and integrity that will work hard to keep the Town moving in the right direction. I have every confidence that Penny, Mike, and John will continue to do just that."

The New Castle Democratic Slate has previously announced the endorsements of other prominent leaders including Rep. Nita Lowey (D-17th District), New York State Rep. David Buchwald (D-93rd District), New York State Sen. George Latimer (D-37th District), and Westchester County Legislator Mike Kaplowitz (D-4th District).

“We are truly honored to have the support of Governor Cuomo,” Paderewski said in the statement. “As the Governor of our state and one of our constituents, he understands the issues that face towns such as New Castle. He appreciates the efforts that we’ve made in keeping our Town on the right track for all of our residents.”
