Croton Falls' Schoolhouse Theater Holds 'Gift Of The Magi' As Holiday Play

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- "The Gift of the Magi" will be performed Dec. 15 to Jan. 1 at the Schoolhouse Theater in Croton Falls.

The production has surprises, including a wig worn by the character Della D'Ottavio Young, played by Sarah Bierstock, courtesy of wig maker Paul Huntley who is known for work done for Julie Harris, Elizabeth Taylor and Marlene Dietrich.

The cast includes Timothy Carter, who returns as James Dillingham Young and Vince Trani, as the story teller, William Sydney Porter aka O. Henry. 

Carols and cookies with audience participation in a sing along will take place at intermission.

The Schoolhouse Theater presentation of O. Henry's, "The Gift of the Magi" is adapted and directed by Bram Lewis.

Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 pm and Sunday matinees at 3 p.m.

Tickets are $38 for Adults and $35 for Seniors.
